Iron County does not have an ordinance requiring home and businesses who have alarm systems in the county to have a permit. However, we ask you to complete the permit information so when we are called to your home or business, we will have the correct information to assist with your needs.

APPLY FOR PERMIT

Information we need:

  1. Complete an Alarm Permit Application Form
  2. Provide the Sheriff’s Office with names of responsible key holders living close to the alarm site who can respond to the home or business within 30 minutes when requested
  3. Keep the Sheriff’s Office advised of changes in information regarding the alarm system, responsible parties, etc.

Notification of alarms at unregistered homes and businesses will still be answered by the Sheriff’s Office.
